MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD AT THE CITY OF PHOENIX

Phoenix public safety is already in a crisis Police and Fire are both terribly short-staffed and 911 response times are horrific. We don't even have enough officers required to manage a minimum number of 911 calls. Departments are now facing mandatory overtime while at the same time the City of Phoenix is mandating vaccines for all employees. They say it's because of the Federal Mandate, but the mandate is now on hold by the courts. Phoenix is putting the safety of your neighborhoods at risk, but you can stop the madness!

YOUR VOICE IS NEEDED TO SAVE OUR CITY!

You can submit your public comment at the next Policy meeting at the link below or sign up to speak at the meeting on Tuesday, December 3rd. Be sure to choose agenda item "1 Discussion of Presidential Executive Order 14042."

BIDEN PUTS 84 MILLION JOBS IN JEOPARDY

Biden's OSHA mandate requires that employers with 100 employees or more implement a vaccine mandate for all employees.

OSHA has made public comment available until December 6th, but please ACT NOW as we need to overwhelm the system as soon as possible to make it effective!

Public comment should include your rationale with supporting data if possible.

Please remember your comments are public, so do not include sensitive personal information. Make sure to include Docket No. OSHA2021-0007 in your comments.
  • The new rule only applies to workers who work in-person or report to an in-person job site.

  • Unvaccinated workers will be required to take their final vaccine dose by Jan. 4, 2022. Businesses are required to provide paid time off to get the shots and recover from side effects.

  • Employers may terminate unvaccinated workers OR workers who remain unvaccinated will be required to provide a weekly negative Covid test to their employer to work in-person.

  • Unvaccinated workers will be required to wear masks indoors.

  • Employers will be required to determine the vaccine status of all employees and not allow them to return to work until they are in compliance.

  • Employers are required to submit reporting on report work-related COVID-19 fatalities to OSHA within 8 hours and work-related in-patient hospitalizations to OSHA within 24 hours.

  • Employers are not required to submit reporting on vaccine related injuries or provide any time off, compensation, or support for vaccine related injuries.

OSHA Employer Vaccine  Mandate Reporting Requirements

OSHA has an additional rule they are seeking public comment on for vaccination reporting requirements for employers. They are also seeking comment from employers with under 100 employees as they want guidance on expanding their mandate to all employers in America. OSHA is seeking input on the difficulty of meeting such requirements. Please reference Docket No. OSHA-2021-0008-0001 in your comment.

MARICOPA COUNTY ANNOUNCES OSHA MANDATE

On Monday, November 8th, Joy Rich, Maricopa County's manager, announced her office is beginning to work with the Maricopa County Attorney's Office, Human Resources, and Risk Management to "develop policies and procedures related to the new OSHA requirements."

Although the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals has issued a stay, it seems Maricopa County is moving forward with the OSHA rule. She does not state whether Maricopa County will allow for Constitutionally required medical exemptions.

This begs the question of whether Maricopa County will limit election workers and poll observers from serving in the next election if they are unvaccinated.

Let Maricopa County know how you feel about them pushing ahead with OSHA mandates even though Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich is fighting this in court.
