SB1470 - OPPOSE - voter registration changes; text notices

  • Eliminates key protections for voters by eliminating notification on most changes made to their voter record.

  • Bill allows for voters to be canceled or inactivated with no notification.

SB1436 - SUPPORT - school districts; bonds; overrides; ballots

  • Requires clarifying language on school bond ballot listings to tell the voters how much their taxes are reduced if the tax rate is not changed

SB1568 - SUPPORT - Striker - time synced on election equipment

  • Requires election equipment to be set to the correct time within 60 seconds of the NIST local time

SB1569 - SUPPORT - special election boards; voter registration

  • Prohibits Special Election Boards, which are paid positions, from registering voters on behalf of the Recorders Office
